I won The Sea To Sky Review's competition for best short non fiction piece on the theme of endurance. Mining my ski instructing past again, I wrote about the day the group of girls and I had to endure skiing in the frigid temperature of 1.4f (-17c).
I spent a summer in Nashville, TN falling in love with the highs and lows of country music and the people who make it, which inspired this fictional short story.
